I used to paddle outrigger each summer with group in Sandbridge headed up by the Barton brothers. We would go to Gloucester, MA and paddle around Cape Ann in the Blackburn Challenge, we did a July 4th race in NYC paddling around the statue of Liberty and Brooklyn bridge dodging ships and ferries and would hold annual races in Va. Beach; a few times it coinciding with the ECSC. The Barton's still do an end of summer paddle from Sandbridge to Rodanthe.
